Sustainability Goal
At Cantal, we are deeply committed to fostering a sustainable future through responsible practices and innovative solutions. Guided by the Singapore Green Plan 2030, our sustainability goals focus on reducing carbon emissions, optimising energy efficiency, and driving environmental responsibility across our operations and products. We work closely with our suppliers to implement sustainable practices and trace our carbon footprint, ensuring that every step of our journey aligns with our goal of achieving net-zero emissions.
Our commitment extends to our manufacturing process, where we continually refine our practices to reduce emissions and produce energy-efficient, eco-friendly products. By striving to achieve the Green Mark certification, we are proudly working towards producing Green Switchboards, which reflect our dedication to environmental stewardship and benefiting society and the people.
Sustainability is not just an initiative for us—it’s a core belief. It influences every decision we make, from design to distribution. We aim to be a carbon-free company, partnering with others who share our vision for a cleaner, more sustainable future.
Workplace Safety Practices Implementation
We moved to include sustainability in our improved workplace safety practices, introducing waste-reduction initiatives, promoting recycling habits, and reducing hazardous materials.
bizSAFE Star certificate (WSH)
We achieved the bizSAFE Star certificate (WSH), signifying our continued efforts to improve occupational health and safety management in a clean, sustainable, and safe environment.
Green Practices Policy Establishment
To promote a more eco-friendly working environment, we added initiatives such as using office products certified under the Singapore Green Labelling Scheme (SGLS), adding recycling stations for excess raw materials, and holding daily briefings for our production staff on Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety Management (QEHS), including monthly HSE reviews.

Rooftop Solar Panels
Our Solar PV system supplies renewable energy, contributing to approximately 60% of total electricity consumption at our Cantal building in Singapore.
Green Mark Certificate (4 Ticks)
Our switchboards have achieved the highest level of the Green Mark certification, signifying our achievement in high environmental performance standards and demonstrating our dedication and excellence in sustainability.
Decarbonisation Champion Programme
Our Decarbonisation Champion Programme consists of movements to monitor and track manufacturing, office electricity, and vendor emissions, improve energy conservation for switchgear manufacturing, and introduce our End-of-Life Product Return Policy for our switchgear, where all returned switchgear will be assessed for potential reuse, refurbishment, or recycling.
